Customer education for B2B software

Build a product academy your customers actually finish

Pelania turns the demos, docs, and call recordings you already have into a branded academy: courses, interactive walkthroughs, quizzes, and certifications. Enroll customers by segment. Completion data lands in Salesforce. Live in an afternoon, not a quarter.

Pre-launch. We are onboarding a small group of design partners.

3x

Customers who complete structured onboarding renew at up to three times the rate of those who never train.

68%

Of churned accounts show no training activity in their first 90 days. Silence is the earliest churn signal you have.

40

The same onboarding demo, repeated by one CSM in one quarter. Record it once, teach it forever.

Composite figures drawn from published customer education and retention benchmarks.

What you get

Docs answer questions. An academy builds operators.

A help center is where customers go when they are stuck. Pelania is how they stop getting stuck in the first place.

A course builder that starts from what you have

Drop in screen recordings, call clips, and existing docs. Structure them into lessons, add quizzes and a certification exam, and record interactive walkthroughs directly in your product. Your first course ships the same day you start it.

Enrollment rules, not enrollment spreadsheets

Auto-enroll by plan tier, ARR band, lifecycle stage, or role. A new admin at an enterprise account gets Admin Fundamentals on day one. A self-serve user gets the short path. Nobody on your team touches a roster.

Completion data where your team already works

Trained-user counts and certification status sync to Salesforce fields and your CS platform, Gainsight, Vitally, or ChurnZero. Your CSMs see which accounts trained and which are flying blind, before the renewal call, not after it.

How it works

Afternoon one to renewal season

Three steps. No instructional designer required, no six-month implementation.

1

Build from what you already have

Import your best onboarding recording, your help docs, your slide decks. Cut them into lessons, add a quiz per module, brand the academy on your own domain. Most teams publish course one before dinner.

2

Enroll by segment

Connect Salesforce, set the rules once. Enterprise admins get the certification track, end users get the 25-minute essentials path, new signups get invited automatically in week one.

3

Watch adoption move

Completion rates, pass rates, and the accounts with zero trained users, all on one dashboard and synced back to your CRM. Your QBR slide writes itself, and your CSMs get their forty demos a quarter back.

FAQ

Fair questions

We already have a help center. Why do we need an academy?

Different jobs. A help center answers "how do I do X" for someone already stuck, and you have no idea who read what. An academy takes a new admin from zero to certified in a sequence you designed, with quizzes that prove they learned it and completion data attached to the account. Keep your help center. Pelania handles the part where customers build competence before they hit the wall.

Do you support SSO and SCORM?

Yes. SSO via SAML and OIDC (Okta, Microsoft Entra, Google Workspace) ships on the Growth plan. SCORM 1.2 and 2004 export is available on Enterprise, so courses you build in Pelania can run inside a customer's own LMS when their L&D team insists.

How long does it take to launch?

The product is built so a first course goes live in an afternoon: import a recording, split it into lessons, add a quiz, publish on your subdomain. A full academy with three or four tracks and Salesforce sync is typically a one to two week project for one person, not a quarter-long rollout.

Where does the training data actually go?

Wherever your team lives. Enrollments, completions, quiz scores, and certification status write to Salesforce fields on the account and contact, and sync to Gainsight, Vitally, or ChurnZero. There is also CSV export and a webhook for anything custom. The number we push hardest: trained users per account, because zero is your loudest churn alarm.

You are pre-launch. What does early access mean in practice?

A small group of design partners, direct access to the founders, and a real say in the roadmap. In exchange you get Growth-tier pricing locked in and white-glove help migrating your existing training content. If we are not a fit, we will tell you.

Your best onboarding demo, taught 1,204 times a month

Stop paying your CSMs to be a video on repeat. Put your product knowledge in an academy, point it at the right segments, and let the completion data tell you which accounts are safe.
